UFC Fighter Offers To Guard Dave Chappelle After Onstage Attack
If Dave Chappelle is looking to upgrade his security, one UFC lightweight prospect has already offered his services.
Chappelle, a famous comedian, was tackled while on stage by an audience member Tuesday night in Los Angeles. On Wednesday, McKinney took to social media that he’s willing to be an extra guard for the 48-year-old.
“Somebody tell Dave Chapelle to hit me up, I’ll be security for him and I bet nobody will touch him,” McKinney tweeted.

McKinney has grown into a fan favorite after he recorded back-to-back wins over Matt Frevola and Fares Ziam in the beginning of his UFC run. However, in his last outing, he suffered his first loss in the promotion against Drew Dober on short notice in March.
The suspect has been identified as 23-year-old Isaiah Lee. He was reportedly armed with a “replica handgun,” which included a knife blade.
Lee was charged with possession of a deadly weapon and faces a felony assault. He is being held on $30,000 bail.
Chapelle has toured with UFC commentator Joe Rogan. He’s also been in attendance for a number of combat sports events including Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley.
