Brandon Moreno, the UFC flyweight champion, has teased the possibility of crossing over into boxing.
Those comments may come as a surprise given that Moreno is an undisputed champion, having achieved the feat on two occasions.
The former’s PFL deals include an option to box in 2023, while Jones has been linked with a fight with Tyson Fury.
Moreno has shown that his boxing skills are up to scratch, as three out of his five stoppages so far in his MMA career have been due to his boxing skills.

“I have this, this desire inside of me, like. I want to try to do some boxing in the future. My coach says I can do something nice. I believe in him.
“So obviously, if they knock me out in the first round and in my first boxing match, I would say something like ‘okay, I tried at least,” Moreno
While that may have been the case, Moreno has things closer to home to worry about. He is set to put his flyweight title on the line against Alexandre Pantoja at UFC 290 on July 8th, 2023.
They have faced each other before, as Pantoja came out victorious via a unanimous decision. This time around, though, Moreno is confident of coming out was the winner.
“I can talk about a lot of different things like the technical part, the mental part, whatever, but the real difference for this fight will be that I’m a better athlete. I’m a better athlete and I’ll show that on July 8th.”
“I said this before and I’m going to say this right now, he never fought against the best Brandon Moreno in that moment when we fought each other, but right now I’m just focused on him. I’m just training for him. Doing the game plan for him. I’m ready man,” Moreno
