UFC Jacksonville Live Results
Another UFC event will be taking place in Jacksonville, Florida, just a few days after UFC 249. Inside the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, UFC on ESPN+ 29 will look to entertain fight fans in the middle of the week.
The main event will feature Anthony Smith v. Glover Teixeira in a light heavyweight bout. Teixeira (30-7) is currently on a three-fight win streak, beating Karl Roberson and Ion Cutelaba via submission. His last fight was a split decision win over Mikita Krylov back in September. Smith (33-14) is coming off of a submission win over Alexander Gustafsson in June. Before that, he lost to Jon Jones at UFC 235 for the UFC Light Heavyweight Title.
The co-main event will see the heavyweight debut of Ovince Saint Preux. Saint Preux (24-13) last fought in September, beating Michal Oleksiejczuk via the Von Flue choke, the fourth of his career. He faces Ben Rothwell (37-12), who’s last fight was a TKO-win against Stefan Struve back in December.
One fight that is off the card is Karl Roberson v. Marvin Vettori as a result of the former suffering from post-weight cut issues.
