UFC Legend Reportedly Injured In ATV Accident

A UFC Hall of Famer reportedly has to go under the knife after an ATV accident.

TMZ Sports reports that former UFC Heavyweight and Light-Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture suffered injuries after driving around a private road on his ranch. Couture driving with his girlfriend Mindy Robinson. While Mindy only suffered minor injuries, Couture was said to be banged up in the rib and shoulder areas.

Once the two returned home, it was apparent to them that Couture needed to go to the hospital. The report notes that Couture is set to undergo surgery on Tuesday. He is expected to make a full recovery.

Couture is 57 years old. He is a little under 11 months removed from suffering a heart attack. It’s clear that “The Natural” didn’t allow that moment to slow him down one bit as he continues to work out at a high pace and enjoy life.

More recently, Couture was seen as a color commentator for the Professional Fighters League. “The Natural” was expected to return for another season of the PFL but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the promotion to delay initial plans. Couture would’ve been joined alongside Sean O’Connell and Yves Edwards just as he had in the prior season.
