UFC London Bouts Announced

The UFC will return to London on March 18, as UFC Fight Night 103 takes place at the O2 Arena. On Thursday, the promotion announced a handful of bouts that will take place at the event, featuring a number of European favorites like Jimi Manuwa and Joe Duffy.

Manuwa will face Corey Anderson in a light-heavyweight showdown.

Manuwa (16-2) is coming off of his best performance to date, as he knocked out Ovince Saint Preux at UFC 204 in October. That fight took place in Manchester, and Manuwa was energized by the hometown crowd. He will look to continue to climb the light-heavyweight ranks after suffering a knockout loss to #1 contender Anthony Johnson in September of 2015. He is currently ranked #5 in the 205-lb. division.

Anderson (9-2) is similarly riding the momentum of a strong win, as he dominated Sean O’Connell at UFC Fight Night: Albany in December. Earlier in 2016 he lost a controversial split decision to Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 198 in Brazil.

Irish lightweight Joe Duffy (16-2) will make his return against Reza Madadi. Duffy has shown promise in his UFC career so far, losing only to top-1o contender Dustin Poirier last January. He rebounded from that loss by finishing Mitch Clarke in under a minute in July.

MMA veteran Brad Pickett will get his wish for a proper sendoff bout, as the Brit takes on Henry Briones in what he says will be his last fight ever.
