UFC Middleweight Shara Magomedov To Make Hollywood Acting Debut

While Shara Magomedov has only had one bout inside the UFC, his impact on the U.S. market is vast, and appears to making its way into on-screen entertainment.

Magomedov had his organization debut back in October, with a defiant win over Bruno Silva after a hard fought three rounds.

During an interview with ‘Red Corner MMA‘, Magomedov detailed his upcoming appearance in a U.S. film in which he will be playing to role of ‘Killer’.

“One of my managers told me about this idea, three shooting days, a short film,” Magomedov said. “I will need to fly to Los Angeles. They are going to pay for my visa and all the expenses. I gave it a thought, and asked him about the role, he said it was a killer. I decided to take this offer, then the UFC scheduled a fight for me on March 2, then the whole event was rescheduled for June, so now I’m going to get my visa and will probably be able to fit those three shooting days in my schedule…

“It’s going to be a useful experience for me.”

The Russian fighter was planned to make his next UFC appearance versus Joilton Lutterbach this Saturday in Saudi Arabia, but the bout will no longer move forward following his opponent failing a urine test.

With his bout now off this Saturday’s card, and nothing currently scheduled for the future, the rising UFC star will have plenty of time to sink his teeth into his acting project.
