UFC News: Darren Till Out Of Jack Hermansson Fight
Darren Till has been yanked from his planned bout with Jack Hermansson.
Till vs. Hermansson was set to headline a UFC Fight Night card on December 5. That is no longer the case. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto reports that Till has been pulled from the card due to an injury. “The Gorilla’s” replacement has been found and his name is Kevin Holland.

“Breaking: Injury has forced Darren Till out of his UFC Fight Night main event against Jack Hermansson on Dec. 5 in Las Vegas. Kevin Holland steps in as a replacement.”
Holland was seen in action this past Saturday, October 31. He earned a quick TKO victory over Charlie Ontiveros via slam. After the fight, Holland traded verbal jabs with UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, who was in attendance. If Holland can pull off a win over Hermansson, he’d be closer than ever to receiving a 185-pound title opportunity. It would be a huge leap for Holland, who isn’t even ranked at middleweight.
It’s a tough break for Till, who was hoping to rebound from his unanimous decision loss to Robert Whittaker. He’ll have to wait a bit longer to pick up his first victory since November 2, 2019. As of this writing, Till is the number six-ranked UFC middleweight.
