UFC On ESPN 11 Weigh-In Results
The UFC will once again be inside the APEX Center in Las Vegas this weekend, June 20, thanks to the Nevada Athletic Commission. UFC on ESPN 11 will be featuring a huge heavyweight bout that could help determine the next contender in the division.
Today at noon ET, the weigh-ins will be taking place. The main event will feature Curtis Blaydes v. Alexander Volkov. Blaydes (13-2, 1 NC) is on a three-fight win streak and is looking for his second win in 2020. “Razor” beat Junior dos Santos back in January via TKO in the second. The 29-year-old is ranked third in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings and is looking to show why he should be the next contender. The two losses against his career come against Francis Ngannou, which has resulted in Ngannou being pushed for a title shot.
Volkov (31-7) is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Greg Hardy back in November. The former M-1 Global and Bellator Heavyweight Champion is 3-1 in his last four fights. He was also on a potential path to championship glory, as Volkov was on a six-fight win streak before Derrick Lewis knocked him out at UFC 229 back in 2018. The 31-year-old is ranked seventh in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings.
