UFC Paris Fight Card Finalized Days Before Event
After a series of changes, the UFC Paris Fight Card is finally made official.
Top-ranked fighters Ciryl Gane and Tai Tuivasa will lock horns on September 3 in the main event of the 12-fight line-up. It is a massive occasion as it means that the company will make its long-awaited debut in France.
According to the Monday announcement, President Dana White and the promotion have made changes which has seen Zarah Fairn getting replaced by Stephanie Egger in the featherweight undercard fight due to medical complications. Egger will be taking on Ailen Perez in the encounter.
Apart from that, Taylor Lapilus will step in for Christian Quinonez – who was injured — in the bantamweight undercard fight with Khalid Taha. William Gomis and Jarno Errens will participate in the featherweight main card fight.
The match between Danny Henry and Ricardo Ramos has been called off due to the injuries sustained by both fighters.
The UFC Paris will be taking place on September 3 at Accor Arena in France’s capital city.
Gane and Tuivasa are in the center of attention right now as a win for either one of them would make them title contenders.
