UFC Raleigh Live Results

Two UFC heavyweights look to stay in the top portion of the title picture, as they face off in the main event of UFC Raleigh.

Curtis Blaydes, ranked No. 2 in the UFC’s heavyweight rankings, takes on former champion and No. 4 ranked Junior dos Santos, in the headline bout of the UFC Fight Night card held at the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Blaydes enters this bout having won six of his last seven and putting on winning performances outside of a pair of losses to Francis Ngannou (and an overturned win against Adam Milstead). Blaydes scored a unanimous decision over Justin Wilis at UFC Nashville in March before scoring a second-round TKO of Shamil Abdurakhimov at UFC 242.

Dos Santos has won three of four since losing a UFC heavyweight title shot against Stipe Miocic at UFC 211 and facing a USADA suspension. JDS scored wins over Blagoy Ivanov, Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis before suffering a 71-second TKO loss to Francis Ngannou at UFC Minneapolis in June.

The welterweight co-main event sees former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, who has dropped three of his last four, including an interim title fight with Colby Covington, taking on Michael Chiesa, who enters off back-to-back wins over Carlos Condit and Diego Sanchez.
