UFC Rankings: Kamaru Usman Sits At The Top Of Pound-For-Pound Rankings
Current UFC welterweight king Kamaru Usman was dubbed the No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter of the promotion.
Usman is defending his title for the third time against Colby Covington on November 6. The leap follows Jon Jones’ arrest; Jones was previously No. 1 and has now been knocked down to No. 2 in the rankings.
Alexander Volkanovski replaced Israel Adesanya in pound-for-pound rankings and took the No. 3 spot after a phenomenal performance against Brian Ortega, which was awarded UFC 266’s Fight of the Night.
Merab Dvalishvili earned a TKO victory over Marlon Moraes, replacing his opponent at the No. 6 seat in the bantamweight rankings.
Dan Hooker showed his improvement on the ground, and now shares the No. 6 spot with Tony Ferguson in the lightweight rankings.
Chris Daukaus enters the top 10 with his incredible performance and sits at the No. 7 spot of heavyweights in the UFC.
