UFC Rankings: Tom Aspinall Becomes Problem For Heavyweight Division

A majority of March’s UFC stars consisted of flyweights, with one exception.

Kai-Kara France (24-9-0) served his first-ever loss to Askar Askarov (14-1-1) and moved up to the second position in the flyweight rankings, which means that he is the mandatory fight for the titleholder, Deiveson Figueiredo, or the winner between the fourth battle between Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno.

Arnold Allen earned a massive victory against Dan Hooker and is one fight away from the title fight, but the biggest hype is around Top Aspinall, who might be the man who will bring the UFC title back to the UK.

He earned a massive victory against experienced fighter Alexander Volkov in the first round via submission.

There might be an interim title fight in the heavyweight, but nobody knows who will be fighting for it, Jon Jones? Stipe Miocic? Ciryl Gane? Ngannou cannot defend it for at least nine months due to a knee surgery.

April could see another shake up in divisions as Alexander Volkanovski will defend his belt against “Korean Zombie,” Chan Sung Jung.

Petr Yan will try to finish the unfinished business against Aljamain Sterling. Does Sterling have the powers to silence the MMA world and defend his belt? Or will Yan finish what he started at UFC 259?

Khamzat Chimaev will also face Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu expert Gilbert Burns next weekend. If Chimaev defeats the Brazilian, he will be one of the next title challengers.
