UFC Releases Darren Stewart

Darren Stewart is no longer a UFC fighter.

Stewart (12-8) has been winless in his last four fights. The UFC decided to cut him off from the promotion.

He joined the UFC in 2016.

He fought 14 times in the UFC and celebrated victory five times. Two of them ended up with “No Content” and losses in seven fights.

In his last five fights, he only won once. He suffered the defeat against fighters Kevin Holland, Eryk Anders and Dustin Jacoby.

In 2021 he already fought three times, but has been in a drought.

The English warrior was participating in the middleweight and light heavyweight, but according to his latest post on social media, he planned to fight in the middleweight.

After defeating Deron Winn in 2019, he left the promotion and fought in CW against Bartosz Fabinski. He lost that fight via unanimous decision.

The UFC still called him on the rise, and he won his second debut in the UFC via guillotine choke against Maki Pitolo.

By that time, he was on a good streak; out of the last six contests, he suffered a loss only once, but everything changed for him after being defeated against Holland.
