UFC Reserves Bill Algeo Vs. Joanderson Brito for January 2022
Though there is still plenty of time left in 2021, the world’s premier MMA organization UFC has already started to schedule its events for the upcoming year.
2022’s first event already has a fight booked.
First up is a featherweight bout between Bill Algeo and recent Dana White’s Contender series acquisition Joanderson Brito. The fight is set for a January 15, 2022 event. The bout date and location are still to be determined and it’s unclear if it will be a part of a pay-per-view or a Fight Night card.
Algeo is coming off a loss against Brazilian fighter Ricardo Ramos in May.
He will be looking to make a strong statement this time around when he faces Brito, another Brazilian fighter in the octagon.
Algeo has fought three times in the UFC until now, winning only once.
On the other hand, Brito will make his promotional debut after securing a technical decision victory over fellow Brazilian Diego Lopez on Dana White’s Contender Series.
Brito is oozing with confidence as he is currently enjoying an 11-win streak and will be looking to continue this good form in the upcoming fights as well.
