UFC Returns To The New Jersey Prudential Center
On May 6th, 2023, the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. will host a pay-per-view event showcasing the UFC.
The upcoming UFC 288 event will be the first time the promotion returns to the venue since Colby Covington defeated Robbie Lawler.
Although the announcement did not mention the main fighter for the occasion, it is anticipated that the bantamweight title fight between Aljamain Sterling and Henry Cejduo will be the highlight of the event.

Additionally, UFC 288 confirmed a matchup between Beneil Dariush and Charles Oliveira, who are both lightweight contenders. With that being said, UFC’s Dana White welcomed the news.
In his comments, he said: “I am thrilled to bring another massive pay-per-view to Newark. UFC has a long history with New Jersey, which has played host to many huge fights in the past. I can’t wait to rock Prudential Center with another world-class UFC event.”
