UFC Rio Rancho Live Results

Following a huge Light Heavyweight Championship match between Jon Jones and Dominick Reyes, two new contenders will look to emerge. Today, February 15, the UFC will host an event inside the Santa Ana Star Center in New Mexico. The main event will be Corey Anderson facing off against Jan Blachowicz.

Anderson (13-4) has won four fights in a row and is ranked fifth overall in the UFC’s light heavyweight rankings. His last fight was a TKO-win over Johnny Walker back at UFC 244. It was his fifth win via knockout. He previously beat Błachowicz at UFC 191 back in 2015 via unanimous decision.

Anderson believes a win against Błachowicz will get him closer to Jones, who he says he can easily beat. This is after seeing how Jon has faired against Thiago Santos and Reyes.

Ranked number six in the rankings, Błachowicz (25-8) is on a two-fight win streak and is 6-1 in his last seven fights. His last fight was a unanimous decision win over Ronaldo Souza back in November.
