UFC San Antonio Live Results

A UFC mainstay looks to keep his place among some of the welterweight division’s top contenders, while a rising star looks for a breakthrough performance, as the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, hosts UFC San Antonio.

In the main event, former UFC lightweight champion and former interim welterweight title challenger Rafael dos Anjos, ranked No. 4 in the UFC’s most recent welterweight rankings, faces Leon Edwards, who currently sits No. 12.

After losing the UFC lightweight title, dos Anjos moved up to welterweight in 2017, winning three straight before competing for the interim welterweight championship at UFC 225, where he lost to Colby Covington. RDA was then dominated by Kamaru Usman at the TUF 28 Finale in November 2018 before rebounding by submitting Kevin Lee in the main event of UFC Rochester two months ago.

Edwards, meanwhile, has gone from splitting his first two UFC bouts to winning seven straight. Edwards defeated Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone last year before defeating Gunnar Nelson at UFC London in March — though he also ate a “three-piece and a soda” from Jorge Masvidal later.
