UFC Uruguay: Attendance, Gate, Bonuses

The Antel Arena in Montevideo, Uruguay had a total attendance of 9.255 that came to UFC Uruguay, which took place on August 11 and was headlined by Valentina Shevchenko defending her UFC Women’s Flyweight Championship against Liz Carmouche . The co-headliner Vicente Luque facing Mike Perry.

The gate for the event was not announced.

Performance bonuses went to Volkan Oezdemir and Veronica Macedo. Facing Ilir Latifi, Oezdemir knocked out the 36-year-old towards the end of the second round. Veronica started off the UFC Prelims with a bang, submitting Polyana Viana in the first round.

Luque v. Perry earned Fight of the Night honors. After a brutal contest, one in which Perry’s nose was turned sideways, Luque took the win via split decision.
