UFC Veteran Tim Johnson Signs With Bellator

Hours before Bellator 197, the MMA  organization has added another veteran ex-UFC heavyweight.

First reported by MMA Fighting, Timothy Johnson, who was last seen pulling a unanimous decision victory over Marcel Golm at UFC Belem, signed an exclusive multi-fight deal with Bellator.

Leading up to his fight in Belem, Johnson needed a crowdfunding campaign to help get his camp to Brazil, because he wasn’t going to afford to bring his team with him.

No debut fight has been announced, he will be in the heavyweight division, and is not currently scheduled to act as an alternate for the Heavyweight Grand Prix.
