UFC’s 30-Day Celebration For Black History Month Begins

The UFC has commenced this year with a campaign to commemorate Black History Month, an initiative taken to acknowledge the accomplishments of every African American that ever served the organization.

The UFC will feature the emotional personal tales of African Americans and Black UFC athletes during the entire month of February. This will highlight the significance of Black people and their efforts in supporting and evolving the MMA sport.

The promotion will post inspiring content including interactive timeline, captions and vignettes that will be published weekly to UFC.com/black-history.

In February, Israel Adesanya will have the chance to mark the month in style when he takes on Robert Whittaker for the second time in the UFC.

The middleweights will clash for the title at UFC 271 on February 12.

Moreover, UFC President Dana White and co will also develop a two-part Black History Month-themed programming collaborating with ESPN featuring a few of the biggest names.

Each episode will feature the biggest knockouts by African American and Black athletes in UFC history. This means that the MMA fans will get to witness the incredible fights of some of the greatest stars of the past and present including Kamaru Usman, Francis Ngannou, Derrick Lewis, Ciryl Gane, Curtis Blaydes, Walt Harris and more.
