This list of 500 influential media moguls was compiled to recognize their accomplishments in the global media field. Recently, White inked a fresh 10-year agreement to keep carrying out activities of UFC.
He has been in the post since 2001 when Lorenzo Fertitta and Frank Fertitta acquired the organization for $2 million. White has changed a once-faltering business into a worldwide sensation.
MMA and UFC have kept on increasing all around the world, and made it through the COVID-19 pandemic. Apart from owning UFC, Emanuel is also co-CEO of International Management Group (IMG), a renowned sports business headquartered in New York City.
Ever since 2016 when Emanuel bought the UFC for $4.025 billion, a solid business connection has been established between him and White.
Although the Fertitta brothers resigned after the purchase, White stayed in his position as the president of the UFC. White and Emanuel have enormous ambitions for 2023 including a potential fight in Africa.
