UK Allowing Fans Back At 100% Capacity By July 19th

United Kingdom’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that 100% of the fans would be able to attend sports events since the 19th of July, and fans will not be obliged to submit a Covid-19 Certification of vaccinations. In addition to the sports events, it also includes nightclubs and concerts in the UK.

One of the fights that will have an advantage due to the removal of control is between Anthony Joshua (24-1 22KO) and Oleksandr Usyk (18-0 13KO) on September 25th at North London, England. The stadium where this fight will happen is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium which has almost 65,000 seats in all. Everyone predicts a sell-out of the fight.

Of course, fight fans know it is going to be risky for the fans to spend a whole night at the crowded stadium with so many un-masked people/unvaccinated people. After 16 months of lockdowns, fans are ready to have fun and celebrate the ability to begin living normal lives. However, there are still many new cases of Covid-19 and fans who have ambivalent feelings about this news because they realize that this might cause more cases, more deaths, and possibly a longer lockdown.
