Usman Hints At A McGregor Fight

Conor McGregor’s comeback opponent just took an unexpected turn after former UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman hinted at a fight.

The timing of Usman’s callout comes after the UFC finalized its “Freedom 250” White House card without McGregor. Usman returned to winning ways with a victory over Joaquin Buckley last June. McGregor previously mocked Usman’s striking, calling him a “sloppy wrestler,” while Usman has frequently claimed that McGregor “ducked” him during his championship reign. With the June 14 White House card full, the UFC is reportedly eyeing International Fight Week (July 11, 2026) in Las Vegas for McGregor’s return.
