For this moment, nothing is official, but according to the Anonymous Trustees, they are going to be headlining UFC 268 on November 6th, in Madison Square Garden, New York.
These two athletes have shared the octagon at UFC 245. It was a very tough fight. As usual two Wrestlers started trading the shots. Finally, Usman was awarded the winner via TKO at end of the 5th round. He managed to break his rival’s jaw in that bout. There is no doubt that the bad blood has been brewing between both champion and #1 ranked contender for a long time.
After that fight, Usman successfully defended his title 3 times. He defeated Jorge Masvidal twice and beat up Gilbert Burns in the 3rd round.
Covington has not been active since his last loss, he fought only once and defeated already dethroned king, Former UFC champion Tyron Woodley.
