This weekend’s UFC Rio card headlined by Charles Oliveira vs. Mateusz Gamrot has been dealt another blow as heavyweight Mohammed Usman has been forced to withdraw from his fight against Valter Walker due to an undisclosed injury.
The UFC was unable to secure a replacement opponent for Walker. Walker has secured three submissions in his three UFC wins to date. Meanwhile, Usman was coming off a decision win in June against Hamdy Abdelwahab, which ended his two-fight losing streak. Time will tell if the UFC plans to reschedule the heavyweight bout for a later date.
