Usyk Calls Out Fury For Avoiding The Undisputed Fight – ‘We Will Make It’
Oleksandr Usyk has called out Tyson Fury for trying to avoid an undisputed fight.
Talks over the bout broke down, despite the Ukrainian agreeing to a 70-30 split. While that may have been the case, the Ukrainian has made it clear that he wants the fight.
And in order to make that happen, the unified heavyweight champion has inked a deal with Skill Challenge Promotions.
This coincides with reports that Saudi Arabia is looking to stage the fight in December. With that being said, this is what Usyk had to say.
“Through the grace of God and with the help of Prince Khalid [bin AbdulAziz, chairman of Skill Challenge Entertainment] and our entire team we are going to make that fight. Tyson Fury doesn’t want this fight, but we will make it.
“It’s a great honor and great opportunity to bring to the fans the biggest fight in heavyweight boxing history. This is the one fight that everyone on the planet wants,” Usyk
Usyk’s promotional move has only increased the chances of the fight happening. Skill Challenge Promotions were responsible for getting Usyk’s fight with Anthony Joshua over the line in Saudi.
As such, his deal has been likened to that of Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Saudi-Arabian football club Al-Nassr.
That is likely to give Usyk more pulling power, with the current suggestion that he is not a big-name draw such as Fury or Joshua.
“The signing of Usyk to The Kingdom’s Skill Challenge Promotion draws significant parallels with Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing with the Saudi Football League.
“It demonstrates the influence and momentum the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is gathering in the sporting world. It’s aligned with Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s national reform program, Vision 2030,” via Skill Challenge Promotions
In addition, the move will increase the pressure on Fury to agree to a fight, as the perception that he is ducking Usyk would only increase otherwise.
And to top things off, the ‘Gypsy King’ has struggled to find an opponent since his win over Dereck Chisora. And this was the sentiment being expressed on social media.

Pretty sure Fury won't want to go over now as the away fighter the next stand still .

Fury would prefer the fans to hate him rather than get exposed by losing every round to a man he's been downplaying as a middleweight.
