Usyk Vs. Dubois Confirmed For July 19

Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois will rematch on July 19 from Wembley Stadium in an undisputed heavyweight clash.

Usyk enters the bout after beating Tyson Fury to retain his unified titles, though he vacated the IBF belt shortly after. That title was claimed by Dubois, who defended it with a stoppage win against Anthony Joshua. Usyk and Dubois’ first meeting in 2023 ended in controversy after Dubois dropped Usyk with a body shot in round five that was ruled a low blow.

Usyk recovered and stopped Dubois in the ninth. While the WBO had ordered Usyk to face his mandatory challenger Joseph Parker, unification bouts take priority. The same goes for Dubois, who was recently ordered to face his IBF mandatory Derek Chisora. Usyk knows a win makes him undisputed for a second time at heavyweight, while Dubois can become a future Hall of Famer with his biggest win.
