Valentina Shevchenko To Guest Star On MTV’s The Challenge: Cutthroat
Next week on an episode of MTV’s The Challenge: Cutthroat, an athletic competition based reality show, Valentina Shevchenko will make a special guest appearance, while presenting the contestants with a fighting-themed challenge.
Earlier this month, Shevchenko vacated her UFC flyweight title and announced she will be stepping away for 8-12 months to repair ligament damage in her shoulder and back. “Bullet” was scheduled to face Natalia Silva at UFC 322 on October 3rd, but unfortunately had to withdraw from the match because of her injury.
The Challenge: Cutthroat was filmed in Thailand between February and April 2026, which ideally overlapped with Shevchenko’s time training out of Tiger Muay Thai in Phuket. While the former champion is out of active competition for the time being, the airing of the episode in which she appears will help to hold fans over until her triumphant UFC return.
A trailer was released for the episode, which is set to air next Wednesday, September 30th, on Paramount Plus, where contestants appear to be fairly heavily sparring during the “Trial by Combat” challenge. Shevchenko can be seen in the trailer standing by, overseeing the action, and acting as a guest host for the special episode.
