VanZant Refractures Arm

Paige VanZant’s return to action has been put on pause again, as the UFC flyweight has re-fractured her arm.

VanZant, who initially fractured her arm in 2018 in the first round of her decision loss to Jessica-Rose Clark, forcing her to undergo surgery. The initial surgery would see complications, halting VanZant’s return to action and forcing a second and successful surgery.

Sitting out for a year, VanZant returned in January for the UFC’s debut on ESPN+, taking a submission win over Rachael Ostovich, setting up for a return at UFC 236 next month.

This week without warning or reason, VanZant was pulled from her UFC 236 fight with Poliana Botelho, and admitted on Thursday that it was due to “12 Gauge” breaking her arm again.

VanZant would then post a photo of her injury to her Instagram story which can be seen below (GRAPHIC)

A timetable for her return or need for surgery has not been made clear at this time.
