Venue & New Date For Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia Announced

We now know where Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia will take place.

Spence is the WBC and IBF Welterweight Champion. He was initially set to meet Danny Garcia inside the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on November 21. The COVID-19 pandemic forced Premier Boxing Champions to look for a new venue. As it turns out, there’s a new date to go along with it.

Garcia took to his Twitter account to reveal that his title fight with Spence has been pushed back to December 5. The action will now be held inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fans will be allowed to enter the building.

“Major announcement! Garcia Vs Spence Welterweight Title Unification on FOX Sports PBC PPV on Saturday, Dec 5th. AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fans will be in attendance! Tickets on sale Wed., Oct. 14 at 10 am CT.”

Spence last fought back on September 28, 2019. He bested Shawn Porter after 12 rounds of action via split decision. With the win, Spence improved his pro boxing record to 26-0.

Garcia was last seen in action on January 25. He defeated Ivan Redkach via unanimous decision.  It was Garcia’s second straight victory as he was coming off a seventh-round TKO win over Adrian Granados.
