Veteran Boxing Manager Cameron Dunkin Dies Aged 67

Boxing manager Cameron Dunkin has passed away at the age of 67 following his battle with cancer. 

According to reports, Cameron’s death took place on January 2, 2024, in Las Vegas. Dunkin looked after many boxers, including Terence Crawford, Timothy Bradley, Nonito Donaire, Diego Corrales, Mikey Garcia, Jessie Vargas and many more. At the time of his passing, Dunkin was involved in guiding Jaron Ennis, the current IBF welterweight champion. The death has understandably gotten the attention of the boxing community.

“Cameron was a great businessman. He knew how to move fighters. He had what, 35 world champions? He knew the game. I’ve been with him for a while. I had Anthony Thompson with him, Demetrius Hopkins with him. I knew him real good. … Cameron was a great guy. He took care of his fighters. And he knew which fighters to pick. He was great with that. And he took them right to the top. He knew what he was doing. I had nothing but respect for him. We was real close,” Derek Ennis (Jaron’s father) said
