Vettori-Roberson Reportedly Reebooked For June 13
It appears that Marvin Vettori will get his hands on Karl Roberson after all. According to MMA Fighting, the two middleweights will be facing off against one another on June 13.
This will be the first time the two will see one another since their fight was scrapped on May 13 for the UFC Jacksonville event. Roberson (9-2) missed weight the day before the fight, coming in at 187.5 pounds, over the middleweight limit. He then had to be taken off the card as a result of a non-COVID-19 health issue. Vettori (14-4-1) was upset as a result of this being his second fight being scrapped at the last minute. He was originally set to face off against Darren Stewart at UFC London last month, but the event was one of several postponed as a result of the coronavirus.
Vettori ended up getting into an altercation with Roberson at the hotel before fight night. He has since confirmed the news on Twitter:
We back on, let’s see if they can make it to the cage without folding this time.

Roberson is on a two-fight win streak, and 4-2 in his last six fights. His last fight was a submission win over Roman Kopylov in November. Vettori is on a two-fight win streak, last beating Andrew Sanchez via unanimous decision in October.
The UFC event on June 13 is expected to take place inside the UFC’s APEX Center. This comes after UFC President Dana White stated they will be allowed back into Nevada within the next few weeks.
