Vettori-Roberson Scheduled For April 25 UFC Card

Two fighters with previously-cancelled bouts will face off against one another in an unknown location. According to MMA Fighting, Marvin Vettori and Karl Roberson will clash on April 25.

Vettori (14-4-1) is on a two-fight win streak and is 3-1-1 in his last five fights. Facing Andrew Sanchez last time out, Vettori won via unanimous decision. He was originally set to face off against Darren Stewart at UFC London last month, but the event was one of several postponed as a result of the coronavirus. He was recently compensated by the UFC for his troubles.

Roberson (9-2) is also on a two-fight win streak, and 4-2 in his last six fights. He won his last bout against Roman Kopylov in November via submission. He was expected to face Makhmud Muradov at UFC 249 before Dana White changed the entire card up.

The location for the event may either be in the secret location Dana mentioned, or the private island he was planning on booking fights for. It is being reported that the location within the United States is Tachi Palace, a Native American casino.

The main event of the April 25 event is reportedly Anthony Smith v. Glover Teixeira.
