Gervonta Davis stole the weekend of combat sports with a vicious one-punch knockout win.

Davis went one-on-one with Leo Santa Cruz in the main event of a Showtime Boxing pay-per-view. “Tank” put his WBA (Regular) Lightweight Championship on the line, while Cruz’s WBA (Super) Super-Featherweight Title was at stake. Davis scored a spectacular knockout victory in the sixth round with a clean uppercut.

With the victory, Davis has improved his pro boxing record to 24-0. This is his 23rd win by way of knockout. As for Cruz, this is the first time he’s been knocked out as a pro.
