VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Oscar Valdez Brutally KO’s Miguel Berchelt

Oscar Valdez has defeated Miguel Berchelt in emphatic fashion.

On Saturday night, February 20, Berchelt put the WBC Super-Featherweight Championship on the line against Oscar Valdez. Berchelt had six successful title defenses going into this battle.

Valdez has taken in the gold and it was via brutal finish.

It was clear that the technical approach of Valdez was giving Berchelt problems. The ropes had to hold Berchelt up in the fourth round, so it was ruled a knockdown. While Berchelt was on wobbly legs, he was able to recover. That didn’t stop Valdez from effectively implementing his game plan and he was able to drop Berchelt again in the ninth round.

In the final second of the 10th round, Valdez landed a massive left hook that put Berchelt to sleep.
