Wallin Looks To Replicate History Against Fury

60 years ago, Ingemar Johansson became the first and only Nordic world champion when he defeated the legendary Floyd Patterson.

On Saturday night, Otto Wallin looks to replicate history, as the Swede battles former unified world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in Las Vegas.

“It would be at the same level,” Wallin told The Associated Press. “I think Fury is the top guy if he has a world title or not.”

While the undefeated Swede is confident walking into the T-Mobile Arena, he knows that Fury has the edge when it comes to the mind games, but refuses to let the “Gypsy King” in his head.

“I can’t let him get to my head,” Wallin said of Fury.

“When he starts getting comfortable, talking to me, knocking me out of my game plan … I think I am well prepared for that. I know what he is about. I have been following him for years.”
