Warren Preparing Legal Action Against Sela And TKO

Frank Warren, founder of Queensberry Promotions, is preparing to take legal action against Saudi-backed Sela and TKO Group Holdings (the parent company of UFC and WWE).

Warren claims he signed an exclusive deal with Sela to provide his ‘operational expertise.’ This gave the Saudis access to Queensberry’s internal know-how as they sought to enter the boxing market. The claim seeks $1 billion for breach of contract, with Warren alleging that his partners went behind his back to launch Zuffa Boxing—a move that he claims effectively took the blueprints he provided to help establish Saudi Arabia’s boxing infrastructure.

Warren alleges a separate contract was signed with TKO, granting them access to specific online data and the details of his Sela contract. Queensberry argues that Sela and TKO breached these terms through their five-year agreement to launch Zuffa Boxing without involving Warren. A spokesperson for Sela has denied the allegations.

“We are disappointed by the unfounded claims brought by Queensberry and Frank Warren. We reject them in their entirety and are confident that the facts will fully vindicate our position,” Sela spokesperson
