WATCH: AEW Star Jake Hager Survives Brandon Calton At Bellator 250
Jake Hager took on Brandon Calton in his latest MMA bout and it was far from a cakewalk.
Hager vs. Calton served as the featured bout on the Bellator 250 card. The action took place inside the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. This was Hager’s fourth pro MMA bout.
Hager was hurt badly in the second stanza. The AEW star hung on as Calton appeared to have slowed down after swinging for the fences.
In the third round, Hager closed the distance and pushed Calton against the fence. Hager landed an unintentional low blow but Calton wasn’t interested in taking the extra time to recover. Hager landed a series of body punches that hurt Calton near the final horn.
Hager was awarded the split decision victory. He is now 3-0, 1 NC in his pro MMA career.
