WATCH: Alex Saucedo V. Sonny Fredrickson Weigh-In Results
A battle to determine the next junior-welterweight contender may be at stake as Top Rank hosts another fight night from Las Vegas. On June 30, the MGM Grand Conference Center will be home to a matchup featuring some power-hitters.
The main event will feature Alex Saucedo vs. Sonny Fredrickson. Before fight night, the weigh-ins took place.
A former WBO Super-Lightweight Champion, Saucedo (29-1) suffered the first loss of his career back in 2018. Facing former WBO Light-Welterweight Champion Maurice Hooker in November of that year, the 26-year-old lost via knockout. He rebounded with a win over Rod Salka back in November.
Fredrickson (21-2) last fought in November, losing to Samuel Teach via majority decision. The loss ended a three-fight win streak dating back to 2018. Starting his career in 2014, Frederickson did not lose a bout until the beginning of 2018, when he lost to Shohjahon Ergashev via TKO.
