The fighters competing on tomorrow night’s Bellator 166 card weighed in earlier today at the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
The main event will see Joe Warren attempt to win back the Bellator bantamweight championship, as he takes on Eduardo Dantas. The two previously met back at Bellator 128 in October 2014, with Warren — then interim champion — defeating Dantas via unanimous decision to win the undisputed title. Warren, however, lost the title in his next bout at Bellator 135.
Since then, Warren has gone 2-1, defeating Sirwan Kakai in his most recent bout at Bellator 161. Dantas, on the other hand, bounced back with a win over Mike Richman at Bellator 137. After over a year without competing, Dantas challenged Marcos Galvao for the Bellator bantamweight title at Bellator 156 in June, winning the belt by unanimous decision.
