The main event saw the continued growth of James Gallagher as he beat Roman Salazar via submission. it only took 35 seconds for Gallagher to take out Salazar, who has been fighting since 2009. One of the top fights on the card also featured Michael Page against Richard Kiely. Following his loss to Douglas Lima at Bellator 221, knocking him out of the Bellator Welterweight Grand Prix, Page rebounded by knocking Kiely out with a flying knee in round one of their fight.
