WATCH: Carlos Takam Vs. Jerry Forrest Weigh-In Results

Another main event has been changed for Top Rank, but it has resulted in a former champion looking to secure another title opportunity. Top Rank returns to action tomorrow, July 9 from inside the MGM Grand Conference Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The main event will be a heavyweight bout between Carlos Takam and Jerry Forrest. Takam is replacing Jarrell Miller, who was caught again with performance-enhancing drugs in his system. Before they face off in the ring, the weigh-ins took place.

A former WBF Heavyweight Champion, Takam (38-5-1) is on a three-fight win streak. The 39-year-old Cameroonian-born star beat Fabio Maldonado in February. Signing with Top Rank in September, Takam has 28 wins via knockout.

Forrest (26-3) is coming off of a knockout win against Martez Williamson in September. It was a rebound following his first loss in 18 fights against Jermaine Franklin.
