WATCH: Corey Anderson Crushes Melvin Manhoef With Elbows
The Bellator debut of Corey Anderson has come to a close.
On Thursday night, November 5, Anderson entered the Bellator cage for the first time to collide with Melvin Manhoef. The light heavyweight tilt served as the main event of Bellator 251 inside an empty Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
It was clear early in the fight that the wrestling of Anderson would be key in this contest. He was able to get Manhoef down to the canvas. The damage wouldn’t rear its ugly head until the second round. Anderson wasted little time taking his opponent down in the second stanza. From there, Anderson cut Manhoef open with elbows and referee Todd Anderson had seen enough.
Anderson was awarded the TKO victory in his Bellator debut. Peep highlights of Anderson’s successful Bellator debut below.
