In what may be the most hectic 24 hour span since the first UFC event, Dana White spoke with Fox Sports 1’s morning show First Things First, to attempt to break down yesterday’s chaotic scene at UFC 223 media day.

“Conor and I talked through text yesterday,” claimed White on Friday morning’s broadcast. White called it the worst conversation the two have had since working together.
“It’s not that I don’t think he understood what happened, but he justified it..”
White claims he not only tried to justify his attack towards Nurmagomedov, but also claimed that McGregor apologized in that conversation to Michael Chiesa, Rose Namajunas, and any others caught in the crossfire.
“Honestly… This is bigger than if you’re going to fire a guy,” claimed White in regards to whether or not McGregor would be fired.
White also claimed to have access to footage of the whole incident, not only from cameras shooting the UFC 223 Embedded series, but also from Barclays Center security cameras.
