WATCH: Florian Choked Out in Jiu-Jitsu Tournament

Former UFC lightweight and featherweight title challenger Kenny Florian may be retired from mixed-martial arts, but that doesn’t mean he’s done competing. This weekend Florian, an avid jiu-jitsu practitioner, competed in the Abu Dhabi World jiu-jitsu tournament.

Florian, who retired from the UFC five years ago, competed against fellow former MMA fighter Vitor Ribeiro.

The match was close throughout, but Ribeiro was able to end up in a favorable position and secure a choke on Florian, who did not tap and was put to sleep.
