Watch: Floyd Mayweather Floors Mikuru Asakuru In Second Round Of Super Rizin Headliner
Floyd Mayweather Jr conquered yet another exhibition match.
Mayweather stopped MMA veteran Mikuru Asakura in the second round of Super Rizin’s headliner in Saitama, Japan on Sunday. Despite taking a few hits from his opponent, Mayweather still took over with his speed and power.
“I’m just happy to be here, thanks again,” Mayweather said after the fight.
“I’m happy that we were able to give the fans excitement tonight. Thanks for having me. I’ll be back.”

Asakura was able to land a few shots on the undefeated boxer in their scheduled three-round bout, including one straight right to his head. He tried to capitalize on it by chasing Mayweather, but was instead met with a left hook and straight right that sent him flipping onto the mat.
Asakura got back up, but he was wobbly. Referee Kenny Bayless waved off the fight.
After the fight, Mayweather also acknowledged former rival Manny Pacquiao – who is also fighting in an exhibition match in December – who was sitting ringside and made a brief appearance before the main event.
