Watch: Francis Ngannou Has Brutal Sparring With Blagoy Ivanov Ahead Of UFC 270

MMA fans are more than just excited to see how Francis Ngannou will about defending his UFC heavyweight title against challenger and former gym partner, Ciryl Gane.

With the fight only two weeks away, Ngannou has sent social media in a frenzy with a video of him training in the fight camp.

The video, which is the second edition of Ngannou’s Cyril Gane Fight Camp series, is uploaded on the UFC champion’s channel.

“The Predator” sparred alongside UFC heavyweight Blagoy Ivanov and Muay Thai ace Santino Zurita. The Cameroonian native could be seen sparring brutally with the heavyweights.

“You put yourself in the same position, tons of times, over and over with a different partner and try and project yourself into the fight to kind of simulate the fight scene,” Ngannou said as he explained how he spars.

“By the moment we get [to the fight] and you find yourself in some position, guess what? That position is very familiar because we’ve been in that same position tons of times.”

The 35-year-old is brimming with confidence and his coaches are happy as well with his progression for the UFC 270 title fight.

Gane has never been defeated in his short career.

With 10 wins under his belt and agility like no other heavyweight has shown in the promotion, he can prove to be the toughest opponent Ngannou has ever faced in the UFC.
