Watch: Glover Teixeira Parades With UFC Title On Hay Tractor
Glover Teixeira is making the most out of his time outside of the UFC after making history at UFC 267.
At UFC 267, the 42-year-old became the oldest first-time champ by beating Jan Blachowicz. He submitted the Polish star with a rear-naked choke submission three minutes into the second round of their main event bout.
When he returned to his hometown of Connecticut, the Brazil-native was given a unique welcome.
The light-heavyweight champ flaunted his title with his team while riding a hay tractor on Main Street. His supporters cheered for Teixeira as he held the title around his shoulder.

Teixeira is likely to defend his title against Jiri Prochazka next year. His title win was the sixth-straight win for him and his fifth finish during his 20-year span in MMA.
“I was punching him and we call the move, ‘spread the chicken,’” Teixeira said moments after he submitted the former champ.
“So I stretch him to the ground, my cup is pressing on his back. That’s a very uncomfortable pressure there and as soon as I put the hand, he tapped. But I knew he wasn’t gonna go anywhere, so he probably knew that too. It’s a tough position to get out of so might as well just tap I guess.”
