WATCH: Gozali Sets New Bellator Submission Record

In only his third professional fight, Aviv Gozali has set the new record for fastest submission in Bellator MMA history.

Gozali competed on the preliminary card of Bellator 225, taking on Eduard Muravitskiy. Gozali almost immediately executed an Imanari Roll and got his legs in position and a grab of his opponent’s leg. Muravitskiy was forced to submit in just 11 seconds.

The previous record for fastest submission in Bellator history came in February 2013, when Aaron Johnson submitted Brennan Ward with an armbar in 15 seconds at Bellator 89.

All three of Gozali’s professional MMA fights have come in Bellator, and Gozali, who made his debut at Bellator 209 in his home country of Israel, has won all three via first-round submission.
