WATCH: McGregor’s Coach Hopes NSAC Easy On Khabib

Nearly 48 hours after the brawl that defined UFC 229, Conor McGregor’s coach wants Khabib Nurmagomedov to not face the full force of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Coach John Kavanagh spoke with Joe Rogan on Monday’s Joe Rogan Experience and Kavanagh told Rogan that not only is he a fan of Khabib, he can understand why he did why the UFC lightweight champion hoped the fence and attacked McGregor’s teammate Dillon Danis.

“I hope they’re lenient on him [Khabib], not just so we can get a rematch,” John Kavanagh told Joe Rogan on the show. “I love watching him fight.”

“I can stretch myself to understand his reaction… He jumped over the cage, it’s not the end of the world”
